Terms of Use

The SmartSecure App can only be used to inform users selected in times of emergency or in times of need.

The SmartSecure App is only intended to be used in emergency situations. The app can not be used as a leisure app to contact selected contacts. If any user's account is being misused the company reserves the right to temporarily block their account.

The SmartSecure App will only share location with a user's selected contacts when the emergency is activated. For privacy and other reasons, live location is not shared with any contacts all the time.

The SmartSecure App has a password security feature. Once an emergency is activated the user will have to enter their password to deactivate the emergency. The emergency cannot be deactivated without the password. This is to prevent any unauthorized access of a user's phone.

The SmartSecure will only start recording when the emergency is activated by the user. The user's recordings will be available to be played and downloaded from the app but cannot be removed/deleted from the app itself to prevent unauthorized access.

Some of the features of the SmartSecure App might not work without an active mobile network and broadband internet connection.

The company will not be responsible for any accidents or problems caused because of any individual or person. The app is only a service provider which tries to help users by informing their selected contacts when needed.

The SmartSecure App will try to send sms and whatsapp messages immediately to selected contacts but cannot guarantee the delivery of messages as it depends on various things beyond our control such as the users and their selected contacts internet connection, mobile network connectivity issues or any other reason not mentioned above.

We will not be responsible for users selected contact not getting an sms for reasons beyond our control such as the users or any of the selected contacts phone is off, has any network connectivity issues, out of reach, does not have an internet connection or any other reason not mentioned above.

We will not be responsible for users selected contact not getting whatsapp messages if the users or any of the selected contacts phone is off, has any network connectivity issues, out of reach, does not have an internet connection or any other reason not mentioned above.

We will not be responsible for users selected contact not getting a call if the users or any of the selected contacts phone is off, has any network connectivity issues, is out of reach or does not have an internet connection or any other reason not mentioned above.

We cannot guarantee the delivery of push notifications immediately as it depends on the users and/or their selected contact's broadband internet connection. Without a user's broadband internet connection the push notification will/might not be sent on time and their selected contacts might not receive push notifications on time. We will not be responsible if a user or the selected contact do not receive push notifications due to internet connectivity, any network connectivity issues or if their phone is off, out of reach or any other reason not mentioned above.

We cannot guarantee the delivery of SOS calls due to reasons beyond our control such as a users or their selected contact's internet connections, mobile network connectivity or any other reason not mentioned above.

The live location shared in the app will not be necessarily of the user but of the device. If the device is dropped/forgotten/thrown somewhere the app cannot give the live location of the user who has initiated the emergency.

The app will not work in emergency situation if the user has not made the payment for the service in advance.

We cannot guarantee any outcomes/safety measures/injury or death due to any individual or accident.

The company will not be responsible for any mishaps, accidents, damages, deaths etc due to the reasons mentioned above or any others.
